The Adventure
Not because anything has been fixed. Not because everything suddenly makes sense. Just because something shifts slightly.
You wake up, and for a moment, things feel… lighter.
Not perfect. Just possible. I think people expect change to arrive all at once.
A clean break. A clear decision. A moment where everything resets and you step into something new without looking back.
It’s rarely like that. More often, it’s quieter.
You carry everything you had before, but it sits differently. The weight hasn’t gone, but it’s easier to hold. The noise is still there, but it’s not as loud.
And that’s enough to start. There’s something reassuring in that.
You don’t need to wait for everything to be resolved before moving forward. You don’t need perfect conditions to begin again. You just need a point where you decide to.
I’ve noticed that most things in life don’t really end cleanly. They fade, shift, or reshape into something else. But that doesn’t mean they’re gone.
It just means they’re no longer in control. If something’s felt stuck for a while, whether it’s work, life, or just how things have been sitting, you don’t need a full reset.
You just need a small moment where you realise it doesn’t have to stay the same. That’s usually where it begins.
And if you’re not quite there yet, that’s fine too. There’s no deadline on figuring things out.
Just don’t mistake “not ready” for “never happening.”
At some point, things do move. Maybe not dramatically. Maybe not all at once.
But they do. And when they do, it won’t feel like a big announcement.
It’ll feel like a quiet step forward.
Life doesn’t wait for everything to be perfect.
It just waits for you to start.
